Ok, this is so super easy, I can’t believe how long it took me to get into this. Especially since I married a carnivore.
Medium sized cut of sirloin or tender steak cut
Lawery’s Chipotle Marinade
1/4 of a large onion, thin sliced
Slices of provolone cheese (optional)
1/4 cup mayo
Mrs. Dash Chipotle Seasoning
Marinate your cut of meat for at least 3 hours, overnight is best. You will also want to mix your mayo and your Dash seasoning a few hours before as well. You can mix it heavier or lighter depending on taste, I just mix bits in till the mayo turns orange to sight.
Near meal time, heat your skillet (cast iron is great for this one) with a quarter size dollop of oil in it. Remove your steak from baggie of marinade and on cutting board slice steak into thin strips (or your size preference). Squirt a bit of Lawry’s Marinade into the hot skillet along with your onion slivers. Toss them around the skillet till sweating (almost soft), and add the meat. Toss around the very hot skillet till meat is medium rare, then remove from heat. Cut open your hoagie rolls, layer cheese, meat, onion, and slather on some yummy chipotle mayo…. and stop eating before you hit your fingers!! Very important!! 😉
