Asian (Chinese) Salad

  • 1 bag coleslaw
  • 2 pkgs chicken ramen
  • 1 cup sesame oil
  • 1 bag sliced almonds
  • 1 Tsp sesame seeds
  • 6 tsp sugar
  • 6 tsp white vinegar
  • dash each salt and pepper

Toast almonds on cookie sheet till lightly brown via broiler, keep an eye on them, they burn fast. Crush both pkgs of ramen (you can bang them up inside the package) then toss them in bowl with coleslaw. Add almonds. Toss well.
Mix oil, vinegar, sugar, season packets, salt and pepper to make dressings. Top with dressing just before serving, noodles will so soggy after a few hours. But this salad goes quick at church pot luck.
