5Q Friday

I am taking a little break this week from my journaling and wrap ups.  Today is “Read Across America” day.  We are celebrating by wrapping up lose ends and reading together on the couch.  I will be back to wrap up these weeks next Friday.  Be sure to grab some time today to read to your kids 🙂

1. Where is your favorite vacation spot and why?

We love the beach and would visit that more if we were closer to the SC shoreline.  But realistically we spend most of our vacation time visiting historic sites with the kids.  It fits in with our interests and homeschooling 😉

2. What is your biggest guilty pleasure?

I really don’t have guilty pleasures, especially right now while I am trying to lose weight.  But I will grab a spoonful of peanut butter any old time;-)  Even better when I have chocolate chips in the house to roll the peanut butter in them for a super yummy treat.  You  should totally try it 🙂

3. What is your favorite fashion trend right now? Or, in the past?

I don’t really follow trends.  Especially when they hearken back to the ’80s.  I survived tight rolled jeans and puffy pants once 😦

My favorite fashion are my boot cut jeans and a layered t-shirt look.

4. What are your spring break plans?

No idea right now.  I need to find out what our friends are doing for their spring break.  But currently, we have no trip in the planning.  We have a Charleston, SC trip planned for May.

5. What baby names do you hate?

The ones that sound like indiscernible.  No child wants to grow up justifying a weird spelled name that no teacher can pronounce.

  1. Thanks for dropping by to visit my blog. I love getting a spoonful of peanut butter and dipping it in a bowl of chocolate chips! YUM…..Oh, I’m watching my weight too so I guess I shouldn’t go do that now! 🙂

  2. I am so with you on the 80’s fashions. They went out of style the first time for a reason…the two you mentioned, and I’ll add shoulder pads and hair all jacked up to heaven. (((shudder)))Thanks for visiting me and commenting. 🙂
