Our week got off to a great start, thanks to some great advice from our Pastor’s wife yesterday. I am hoping we can keep this up for about 6 months 🙂
One of the reasons I love homeschooling is the freedom it offers. I took advantage of that for years, letting my students do their tasks in whatever order that wanted at their pace…but it started biting me last year as we added the fifth child and a military PCS.
These first two months of our school year have been miserable for us all. And I was lamenting this yesterday to Robyn.
Today was very structured with all students doing the same subject at the same time. We finished our school day early, together, and in great moods. So we celebrated tonight with my oldest starting a fire in our camp ring and with homemade chocolate pancakes for supper.
