One of my favorite blog writers has come up with a fun carnival: Whimsical Wordless Wednesday.
Hammock Tracks will give us photo prompts for each week, and then judge the entries to see who wins the prize. This week we were given: crisp, grain, feet, pet, old.
Crisp
This week it was brought a crisp morning, a 30 degree difference over night, which led to our first fire of the year!

Grain
Fresh, homemade sourdough bread to go alongside our soup just last night!

Feet
Just look at the feet on this wolf hybrid we met while hiking the Eagle River Nature Center!! This dog was massive and extremely friendly!!

Pet
Not exactly a pet yet, but my FIL fell in love with this puppy at the Iditarod Museum!

Old
This is an old freight sled from the earlier days of Alaska’s dog sled history.

*All pictures were taken by me and are watermarked for a reason.
If you would like to join in the whimsical fun, hop on over to Hammock Tracks and post your pictures!
I love the sled. Thanks for linking and your kind words. I hope you’ll return each Wednesday.
Thanks for hosting! I went looking, but didn’t find the Friday Review link up last week. I was pretty excited to find it!
Hey Kay…send me your email so I can mail your book…you are the winner!
Woohoo! All right, will do!
