Having sisters can be both a joy and a struggle. Sometimes you are so alike that they just drive you nuts, while other times they appear to be so different that you can’t imagine what on earth they are thinking! Nevertheless, they are your sisters.
My sisters and I weren’t always close. We didn’t always see eye-to-eye on life. We had jealousy, bossiness, fighting, anger, tit-for-tat. As the oldest, I did what the oldest often does and my younger siblings (especially the second sis) resented it. I left home first for college and never returned after getting married shortly after. There was even period of time when my younger siblings appeared to not even want me around!
But something happened when marriage and children entered the scene. There is a common bond now, a commradery that grew from the normal struggles of wifehood/motherhood. Now there are long phone conversations and tears that are shared. We laugh and cry for each other. They are my sisters and rather than list a formal “why I love having sisters” I am going to let my pins do the talking.
Why I love having sisters!

Oh I love this. I am one of 5 girls and although we have some issues. (and we do have those issues) we still love each other and continue to make the effort to remain friends on top of sisters.
Love that pins!!!!
Thanks, Sherri! I can imagine the insanity of 5 girls! So glad you ‘get it’ đŸ™‚
