P.S. I like the new button quite a bit. I missed that it was the new official FF button because I keep a document with all the buttons I use on my computer. It’s easier to just copy and paste than hunt things down online. Anyway, it’s blue, I LOVE blue π
After last week, I really don’t feel like a rock star. Being a mother is hard enough without the children testing and stretching you beyond what you thought your personal limits were π¦ As @Honest Toddler once said “If they’re curled in the fetal on the floor muttering, you’ve taken it too far”
However, according to this list, I truly am!!! Are you a rockstar mom? Shout it out, loud and proud ladies π
Today my goal is to attempt to totally forget that tomorrow my parents and middle sister are coming. They are bringing with them this precious bundle of snuggle with them! I can’t wait to munch that boy!!! Just look at those cheeks?? My last baby was a skinny one, so I am looking for a baby with rolls on their rolls, and Gabriel is going to deliver for his auntieΒ π
My 5 year old niece is pretty excited too. I wrote bout that earlier this week.
Oh, this reminds me, you will probably just be getting pictures and small bits for the next few weeks. I plan on diving into my guests and soaking them up until they have to leave in a few weeks. Being this far away can be pretty desert-like, So I am going to gorge myself on them π
Things heard around the house lately:

Oh yeah, I am totally a Rock Star Mom according to that list! :)Have fun with your visitors – I’d totally dive in and soak them up, too. Besides, I’m sure you’ll have plenty of blog fodder upon your return to cyberspace. π What a little CUTIE PIE! The things heard around your house are hysterical!! Have a great weekend – and Happy Mother’s Day! πOrphan Black Phenomenon, Princess Naggerβs Artistic Mad Skillz, Office Supply Art Fun
I bet, shout out to another rockstar mama!!!I can’t wait, but I am going to have to take notes, or I will forget every funny part ;-)Have a great Mother’s Day too!
I am not a mom. I am a rock store children’s coordinator. I fill the bill on all counts. Happy Mother’s Day.
Yes you are, Laurie!! Happy Mother’s Day and thank you for opening your heart to kids who really do need to be loved and cared for!
My children are all grown, at least in years…..I might have been a rock star mom for 6 minutes sometime in 1978 ……hard to remember! As for having issues….oh, man do I know what that’s like…hope all works out well. It will work out, everything always does sooner or later.Enjoy your guests!!!! That baby boy is precious!
I hope so too. It is hopefully just a phase and we need to be more diligent to try and phase the behavior out. Thank you so much for the encouragement π
Happy Mothers Day, Rockstar Momma! π
Thank you, Jenn!
Sorry you’re feeling a little worn out, but it sounds like you’ll be rejuvenated soon. Glad to know you have your priorities straight, too; have fun! Thanks for linking up π
Yea, it’s just been a long school year with poor work ethic and behaviors. I am sure you fully understand that scenario π I actually stopped following a blog when the gal went off on people who would stop blogging for any reason. She didn’t get those who took breaks for family and such. Oh well.Happy Mother’s Day, Mrs. 4444!!!
There are days. And seasons too : ) You will get through it because you’re a rock star! Enjoy that squishy legged baby and happy Mother’s Day to you!
Hahahahaha, I just want a full time hair dresser!! I would happily sleep in my chair while someone spends hours on my hair every day ;-)Happy Mother’s Day right back at you!! π
Have a wonderful visit with your family. We have one of “the five” testing the waters lately. Understandably, with all that’s on their plate and all the changes they are facing, but it’s dicey when LB asks for advice and I’m not technically the parent.
