Side-Splitting Monday
I don’t know if you have ever seen this movie, but I think it is hilarious. I not only come from a long line of military folk, married a military man, but I myself was enlisted for 10 years. Sgt Bilko is a very funny military spoof movie with Steve Martin playing a Motor Pool Master Sargent who uses it as a front for a gambling ring on post.
Not only have I hung out in a motor pool (know what it looks like) but my FIL is a retired motor Master Sargent. I myself have been ‘shamming’ there when the ‘brass’ (officers) walk in and enjoyed watching everyone suddenly find something important to do š
So the funny one liners and military humor just cracks me up. If you have the time, watch the movie. There are several great quotes that my friends and family still use š I hope this perks you up. Happy side-splitting Monday!
